Course objectives
To maintain a current up to date status in the ATLS Program, the validity of an ATLS training is set to 4 years. Holders of a valid ATLS Certificate must reverify their status before the certificate expires or within 6 months after the latest, otherwise the expired status can not be reverified and a Student Course must be passed.Course description
The Refresher Course consists of a triage scenario (case studies), skills station (e.g. resuscitation) and written test and initial assessment. The ATLS Refresher Course is conducted during one whole day.Participants
The Student Refresher Course is open to every one that has successfully completed an ATLS® Student Course 4 years previously and that needs to be recertified. Four weeks prior to the Course at the latest you will receive all Course documents, however, only if payment has been received. It is recommended to read the manual beforehand in order to be well prepared and to pass the Course. Besides a pre-test you will have to pass a theoretical as well as a practical test.Fees
CHF 500.-- including the Course material. The Course Fee must be paid to the ATLS bank account

Registration
As the Course place is limited to 12 persons, we cannot guarantee definitive participation. Confirmation of participation will be made on a "first come - first serve" basis after receipt of the course fee. If a given course is already full you can still try to join the waiting list as sometime vacancies due to cancellation sometimes happen.
A maximum of 2 foreign particpants can be considered for each course. This rule applies only to those who are working and living outside Switzerland.

Cancellation policy
Cancellation must be received by e-mail or by registered letter at the ATLS Secretariat eight weeks before the beginning of the course the latest. Cancellation by phone is not acceptable. A cancellation fee of CHF 100.-- will charged.
Written cancellation received at the ATLS Secretariat less than eight weeks before the beginning of the course will be charged the full course fee of CHF 500.--. It is strongly recommended to insure against unforeseen and forced cancellation (illness, accident, etc.) www.elviatravel.ch
